We taught Kids church...lots of fun....can you feel my sarcasm?  It's there...trust me!!

After church Ashlee and I ran some errands...and I picked up party favors for the shower!

IGC (from now on I'm just going to refer to them as that, so I don't have to go into the details constantly)...

I decided I no longer want to clean the kids bathroom, ya know, since I'm not the one peeing ALL OVER IT!!  I gave them a tutorial and set them loose.  They.were.thrilled.

Tuesday I hopped on the scale and drug myself off.  I had been working so hard on my WW plan, but I wasn't seeing anything on the scale...except maybe the number go up an ounce or two.  I was so discouraged I just stood there in my bathroom...at 6am...blubbering....hard ugly cry.  I tried to be quiet, but just as I stepped into the shower Joey came in wondering what was wrong.  I stepped back out (wrapped in a towel...dirty minds) and just bawled in his arms.  Later that day Joey sent me this SWEET text message.  It was so encouraging and I love him for it!!

Friday was Western Day at school!!  I love that these two have each other to rely on in school.  It's nice to have a partner in the every day things!

Started a new IGChallenge on February 1st!!  Whoohoo!

Saturday I sweated with Leslie Sansone of Walk Away the Pounds!!

And I finished up working in Owen and Finn's room....Friday I moved a lot of "stuff" out and patched all the holes in the walls.  Saturday I did the rest...painting, cleaning the walls and baseboards...it was a project, but I am so much happier the way the room is now!!

I made a rag banner for the baby shower!!  Love these colors together!

New Living Room Furniture!

I am so excited!!  We finally bought new LR furniture yesterday!  We've been looking for a while because 1) we don't even have enough seating for OUR family and 2) our seating is GROSS!!  Stains, smells, oh my!!  And the best part?  This furniture is legit!  Like actual nice furniture!!  Haha!!  We got it for a steal and that really is the best part.  Oh and it's comfortable, and fancy...so that's the best part.  And we all like it...that's pretty good too!!  Hahaha!  I cannot find a pic of the goods online, but I thought I would show some of my ideas for the LR.

We REAAAALLY want to change the flooring.  Our carpet is....um, "well-loved", and eventually we'd like to replace it.  AND we want to paint....okay, not really WANT to paint.  Our walls are builder grade, which is fine.  But that means the paint is no longer being sold, it's flat (every single fingerprint shows) and we are tired of always touching up the walls.  So soon (I hope) we will be tackling that project.  It would make me feel so much better when having people over!

Photo Dump...Week of Jan 19th

The poor dog was my yarn catcher while making poofs for Ashlee's shower!  

The floor also caught a "few" stray pieces!!  Ha!  Y'all seriously...I had to get a brush to get these bits out of the rug and carpet!  It was tedious, but so worth it!! :)

Monday I made some homemade Ranch...I was so excited to put into a Mason jar, oh and the fact that it was practically 0 points+!  But good gracious it tasted terrible.  I used a Ranch powder packet, greek yogurt and a little milk.  BLECH!!  It probably just needed some sour cream to "tarten" it up a bit...it was just too sweet.  Oh well, now I use Hidden Valley "Light" version...deslish!!

I made some YUMMY chicken....some sort of marinara, spinach and mozzarella cheese thing!  I loved it!  

We spent some time over at Ashlee's house...the weather was decent so the kids jumped on the trampoline.  I LOVE LOVE this pic of B!!

Tuesday night after dinner with Grandma we went to a shoe store looking for tennis shoes for Aidan.  He's too picky.  And this is what I was dealing with....goofy and cranky!

Ice cream was definitely needed deserved after that!!

 Wednesday before school!!  

After school we finished up quiet time....Finn is in Olympians and Breslyn and Owen are in Gopher Buddies.  We love our church and are so glad that the kids are not only involved, but beg to go each Wednesday!

We had this for dinner...it was SPECTACULAR!!!  

And so now is as good a time as any to share my Weight Watcher journey with you!!  Thursday night I attended my first meeting (well, my first time this time...I'm a repeat offender)!  I was nervous about learning their new system, but so excited to finally be there.  

Friday or Saturday, I can't remember which, Owen and I walked around Hobby Lobby...and saw some adorable material...I took a pic so I wouldn't forget it!!

Another week done....and I did go back and buy this material...it is just as pretty as I remembered!!

Warm Sunny Afternoon

So this past Friday the kids had a half day.  I had all four of mine plus Ashlee's boys.  We decided after nap (quiet time) to play out in the front yard....but when we went out we were greeted by the neighbors who were already taking advantage of the beautiful weather!

It was a little bit crazy with 10 kids, but a LOT O FUN as well!!

It was such a nice day that we stayed out for about an hour and a half!!  I love those days....not too hot, not too cold...just perfect!!!

And here we go for another rousing week!!  Haha!!

I made this caramel marshmallow popcorn...it.was.DIVINE!!  Like the fancy bowl?  Yep that is high quality tupperware right there!!

Just a random shot of ALL the flippin laundry I do on Mondays...and then my WONDERFUL Grandma comes over on Tuesdays to help fold, hang up and put it all away!!

Tuesday...Still doing the January IG challenge.  This day was "inside my bag".  Riveting, I know.  ;)

Wednesday my IG challenge..."bedhead"...but a cute one!!

Thursday's IG "cheer"....which is what one of Owen's SWEET teachers did by helping him conquer writing his name!!!  Mrs. Danielle is so patient.  Owen had a mini meltdown because he just couldn't get it, so she quietly sat down beside him and encouraged him!!  

Rocking out some tunes with the oldest...French horn and trombone duet....AWESOME!!  I recorded a few of our songs...maybe I'll share one someday!!

Keegan really is like part of the family..."brotherly love" going on here!!  Being quiet and nice (for a change!!)!

Friday's IG "My ride"...

Aidan went to DNOW at our church Friday through Sunday.  He bunked with a great family and I believe he really gained a lot of knowledge about the Lord this weekend. :))

Saturday I worked my tushie off in the garage!  This was all to donate!  Whew!  (And I had more the next week!!

My parents came over for dinner Saturday night...mom said I couldn't post this pic on IG or FB...but there was no ban on my blog!!!  My dad?  No words.

 This was Sunday morning...yes I took a pic during worship time, but I was just so proud of Aidan for hanging with the youth.  Love him.
