Photo Dump...Finally December and the ICE STORM!

The first week of December...

Keegan and Owen built a tent.

We saw our preacher's son on the news!!  Go Carter!!

Tuesday after we got home from school, and while I was getting my stuff out of the front seat, Owen decided to hold the exhaust pipe of my Expedition!!  Oh it burned him BAD!!  

It looked worse about day 3.  

Wednesday I went up to visit B and took individual pics of her classmates, for a Christmas project for Ashlee Mrs. Szymanski!!

Wednesday afternoon I knew I better go take the kids Christmas pics...the ice storm was predicted to hit late Thursday evening.  So off we trotted, full of attitude and crankiness.  It was lovely.

"Look Mom...I look like Grandpa!"  Hahaha!!!

Thursday I worked...but it was a mad house getting everyone out of the preschool safely!!  I royally messed up my windshield wipers driving home...the rain was freezing on my windshield.  I was very lucky that I made it home without my view being completely obstructed!  This is what we had Friday morning...ICE, ICE and more ICE!!  HARD very dangerous ice.

So we had many days of tv/movie watching, baking, ornament making, card making and freezing cold outside play.

One night we braved our subdivision ice and headed to the bestie's house for game night!!!

Photo Dump...Starting Around Thanksgiving!

We will start on Thursday because I didn't do much before Thanksgiving!  First...our beautiful turkey!!  We celebrated at my Grandma's house with my mom and dad, aunt and uncle.

Then we headed out to my SIL and BIL's house.  We had such a good time playing with the triplets!!  They are ADORABLE and big chunky HUGE!!  They have these rolls that go on forever!!!

The weekend was full of picture takin'!  I took this pic in Trinity Park, where my first session was!!

And since I am so far behind, I may do two weeks at a time...I don't want to be sharing Christmas in March!  Haha!

We've had a memorable Christmas....lots of great time spent with family and friends and love spread all around {along with about a thousand toys!}!!

Happy To Share

So I've briefly mentioned (ha) that my best friend will be having a baby girl in a few months (whoohoo), and I cannot wait for her to share in all the special memories that you make when you have a daughter!!  I love my sons, always have, always will.  And they will always share a bond with me that cannot be broken.  I love my daughter just as much, but there is just a difference in all that you share with a daughter.

Christmas Tour 2013

Evening friends!  It's time for the annual Christmas tour....but I will say, this year it is a little more condensed than years past.  I had a definite picture in my mind of how I wanted the house to look...burlapified!!  I incorporated some burlap last year, but added even more this year.  I made yarn pom poms for the tree as well as a garland.
