Seriously....more snow??

that snowball would definitely hurt!
poor B couldn't really make a snowball so she just stuck her wet glove into the snow and whatever came up was her version of a snowball!! So cute!
Aidan just hit Joey...good one bubba!! And Finley is ready to pounce next!! Go Finn!

Aidan's 8th Birthday

Aidan decided he had to have a Superbowl party for his birthday this year! I loved the color combo that the Superbowl "people" went with this year...orange and navy blue...b.e.a.u.t.i.f.u.l!! I think I finally figured out how to upload more than 5 pics....yay!! Enjoy my big boy and his big day!!

Josh came down and played in the snow with Finn!! They had a blast!! The snow is amazing..so thick and beautiful and crazy all over the place!! Love watching it fall and watching the boys have such a great time together!

In the midst of it all....

I am so very very blessed. There have been a few things in our life recently that could be classified as "life challenging" and with all the hustle and bustle I can start to focus too much on the bad and not on the good. Luckily I have many people in my life that help me get perspective, feel grateful for what I have and make me feel so cared for and loved on. I can brag on those people right here in blog world...so in no particular order I am totally and completely grateful for the following people:

I know this isn't an official card of thanksgiving, but I love you all and could not do "life" without you in it!! God has truly blessed our family of 5 with the most amazing support system. We love you all so much and thank God for you every day. I love you each.

jealous...

Just a little post about my feelings....I have been reviewing so many new blogs....mostly about decorating...all of which I can do. In other words, the projects are not very expensive and fairly easy to make. My favorite blog is shanty2chic!! I am mostly inspired by these blogs, not really jealous. But everywhere I look in my house I see many little projects that I can't believe i haven't seen before. For example, why have I gone this long with these cool but ugly end tables; and why haven't I spray painted my plate holder over in the kitchen (which completely blends in with the wall); and why have I let my mantle just "be" instead of playing up its beauty; and the list goes on and on and on. I am excited about all the ideas I have racing through my head....I have many projects screaming my name from the garage...unfortunately there is sooo much more to take care of first...finishing up painting the boy's room and arranging it, as well as decorating it. Then we must move on to Owen's room...which must also be painted. And of course there are many decorations and such to buy and put in place. Moving on we end up with B's room. We have decided not to paint, but we still have to put her new bed up as well as all her decorations we have yet to buy!! So, I will continue to delve into the blog world and gather ideas for my home...because one day I will get it all done...one day.
