Two More Romantic Songs

So I don't know what has come over my wonderful husband, but I love that he is telling me to look at all these sweet romantic and CHRISTIAN love songs!! I told you about one yesterday that made me bawl! These two probably would have made me cry, but my children were being rather awnry at the time!! Ha!

Dear Joey,
Thank you for loving me for who I am...all of me...the crazy, the insecure, the funny. It means so much to me that you would think of me when you hear these amazing songs. I love you so much.

*Beautiful by Mercy Me

*God Gave Me You by Dave Burns

{Look them up...it is so worth it.}

Go to:

http://www.sanctusreal.com/

and listen to 'Lead Me'.

My Joey brought home beautiful Gerber daisies tonight {and he gave me some yummy candy} and told me to listen to this song. I tried not to cry. I really did. I was unsuccessful.

He knows. Joey knows how much we rely on him and I know how much Joey relies on God to provide for us.

This
song
is
beautiful
and
is
so
moving.

I love it.

Enjoy.

Pumpkin Patch Pictures (i love alliteration)

I still don't know how to type above the first pic...so I will start here!! Ha!

We took a trip to the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch yesterday afternoon and had a blast...even though it was WAY TOOOOO HOT!! Won't write a lot, will let the pics speak for themselves!!

Finn and his favorites...DINOSAURS!!! GRRR!!

Yes...this is a smile. Her "new" smile....you will see it in most of the pictures! I love that big ole fake smile, chubby cheeks and squinted eyes!!

Ha!!!

And here is just pure Owen goodness...

{if you are not smiling so much your cheeks hurt then you have no heart!!}
And the following are such sweet pics of our littles. They are wonderful kids and we love them very much.

Admission was free, but they asked that you donate canned goods...and here they are each giving their own can.

Bounce houses and slides...OH MY!!

Now this next picture of Breslyn is AWESOME!! I wish I could say I meant for it to be SO artistic, but the truth is it just happened. Look in her beautiful eye and sweet red face...I just ADORE this picture....love love.

okay...this is Aidan being the BESTEST BIG BROTHER EVER....he had instructions to help her the whole way. He was awesome. B was so scared and did not want to slide, but with his encouragement she was finally happy to slide down...very very slowly!! Ha!

my sweet family...precious.

Maze...finn did awesome...B and Aidan...not so much!!

We had a great time and I only took about 200 pics!! We have such pretty pumpkins for us to remember our wonderful family time together.

Halloween/Fall Mantle

Here is the Tremaine Halloween/Fall mantle!! I really like the way it turned out. I stressed for a long time on how I was going to decorate it...so many choices, but being limited by budget!! I wanted to make sure it was kid friendly {not too scary} and that it could last all of October and November {so nothing JUST Halloweenish}.

I started off with this WONDERFUL {diamond in the rough} old window!! My momma gave it to me years ago, and although I knew it had great potential, I put it away for a rainy day. Well, it wasn't a rainy day....but when i saw this sitting way back in my garage I just knew....this was going to be the centerpiece to my mantle!! I love it!!! It is surprisingly delicate. I had to be extremely careful when cleaning it and moving it. The caulking holding the glass is deteriorating so I had to be very gently with the Windex! Ha!! It has flecks of blue-green in it {i am sooo in love!!}.

{first...I admit these pics are not in the order I wanted...but moving on}
These pumpkins were purchased at Hobby Lobby for $2 and $3.50!!! Such a steal. They are so delicate and lovely.

Next are the AWESOMELY SIMPLE black sticks!! My Bestie~~Ashlee~~gave me this wonderful idea {okay, I actually just stole the idea after she mentioned it}!! I took a bunch of branches out of someones yard {HA!!} and my kiddos beat the sticks on the side of the house to get the leaves and "spiky things" off of them. They loved being such big helpers!! [After we beat the spiky things off I decided they would make a great decoration...also on the mantle, in a mason jar, with wheat coming out.] Once said sticks were ready I just spray painted them black. This was so simple and turned out so cool!! {Thanks Ashlee!!}

Hanging on the left side is this wreath. I used remnant orange burlap fabric from HL. I simply wrapped a plastic covered wreath. Super easy. Added a black crow from Dollar Tree and some awesome zebra ribbon!! Simple.Perfect.Love it!!

Another shot of the entire setup!

On the right hand side of the window is a frame with sparkly gourd scrapbook paper in it. It is hanging by some orange, yellow and black ribbon. Again easy, but I love it!!

And here is the other side of the mantle....the spiky things in the mason jar, another black frame with wicked witch scrapbook paper, and a large candlestick holder with what can only be described as a huge black artichoke!! Haha! I know that is not what it is {I think!!}...it was a 90% off purchase from Hob Lob!

And finally I put Dollar Tree pumpkins and gourds in this AMAZING mason jar. The jar is at least 11 inches tall! It is beautiful and I love it!!

I hope you have enjoyed my Halloween/Fall mantle!! I am happy that I am no longer stressing over making it perfect. Of course it's not perfect, but I am thrilled with how it turned out!

I LOVE FALL...ahhhh.
