Fall Mantle 2013

Well, it's that time of year....FALL!!  And this weekend it finally felt like fall...at least here in Fort Worth!  I decorated my mantle back on September 4, but I have tweaked it constantly until now!  I finally like the way it looks.  I hope you like it!

And there ya have it!  I have determined some things about my "hearth"...the mantle isn't wide/deep enough, I can NEVER get the white clean enough, I don't like how porous it is BUT I love having a fireplace!!  I love that I can change out the decorations on a whim any given afternoon...I love that it holds our family stockings at Christmas...and I LOVE the cozy feeling it brings to our living room every single day!! :)
