Photo Dump...week of May 4th

I found this picture and texted it to my parents Sunday morning!  I love that my daddy was taking a selfie!!!  Bwahaha!!

Sunday afternoon I started working on my Summer mantle....it is finished now and I will show pics soon!

And Sunday afternoon my parents came over so my dad could fix our fence!  Joey and Dad worked all afternoon and it was a HARD job!  I'm so thankful to have two men who take care of this family when it is in need! 

That night after dinner we played Quiddler...if you don't know what the game is you are given a certain number of cards and you have to make words with them.  It is super fun....especially when you spell words like Poop, butt and urine!!  We are classy over here folks!!

Monday dad came back over to work on the fence....while he worked I worked....and listened to DTV music stations!  This is one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite movies!!

So...I HATE fractions...like abhor them!!!  I can remember my dad trying to teach them to me, and I would just shut down.  I couldn't comprehend them.  And I STILL hate them...so when I knocked over Joey's toolbox full of these doohickies, I was not thrilled to have to decipher fractions to put them back in their little spots!! Ugh!

 This week was the Mother's Day Tea at Grace Place!  I had such a good time sitting with Owen and listening to him laugh and explain all that he loved about me!  Ha!

Friday before school...

Friday morning Owen and I ran errands...and apparently he needed a nap!  We were listening to Norah Jones...and her voice is very smooth and can lull anyone to sleep!

Friday night Joey, Aidan and I ran to Thrift Town to find Aidan some clothes for an upcoming band event.  Ha!  60's wear...it is awesome!!  

Saturday I went and scoped out paint colors for the house....we decided not to buy a new and bigger house.:(  I was disappointed, but we know it's the right decision for our family.  We did decide to spruce up our house a bit, and one of our issues is painting the main living area.  Not that we hate the color we have, but it shows every fingerprint, I can't wipe it to clean it and we are out of touch up paint.  Someone {who will remain nameless} threw a toy at the toy box, it missed and took a huge chunk out of our wall.  So we REALLY need to paint that spot.  Anywho....I believe we are going to use #6.  

Sunday morning was Mothers Day!  I received some amazing gifts, but this one really touched my heart.  Finley made this IN SCHOOL, not Sunday School...REAL school!!  So amazing!  

After church we had lunch at my Grandma's house, then I had a photo session and then we went to my MIL's house!  It was a great BUSY day!!
